Causes
The table is located along the path Tables > Quality > Complaints and Non-compliance > Causes.
In this table, it is possible to encode the Causes, both expected and actual, that led to a nonconforming situation.
Some examples of the use of Defects Detected can be found in the management of:
Complaints - in the tabs Defects Management, 8D Management > Causes, and 8D Management > Permanent Actions;
Non-compliance - in the Defects Management tab.
The table allows for the entry of new records or the search for existing ones to view, modify, or delete them.
Search Causes
The form consists of a filter area and a results area. Once all desired filters are set, it is sufficient to click the Search button to display the results in the results grid.
Insert Causes
To enter new Causes, it is necessary to click on the first empty row in the grid or press the New button.
For the new record, at least the required mandatory fields in the program must be filled: Code and Description.
Specific fields:
Code: this is the code of the Cause.
Cause Description: this is the description of the Cause.
Presumed: indicates the activation of the cause in the Presumed Causes.
Effective: indicates the activation of the cause in the Effective Causes.
Complaints: indicates the activation of the presumed and/or effective cause in the management of Complaints.
Internal Non-compliance: indicates the activation of the presumed and/or effective cause in the management of Internal Non-compliance.
Supplier Non-compliance: indicates the activation of the presumed and/or effective cause in the management of Supplier Non-compliance.
Customer Non-compliance: indicates the activation of the presumed and/or effective cause in the management of Customer Non-compliance.
Score for supplier qualification index calculation: this is the penalty score of the Bonus used during the Periodic supplier non-compliance.
Active: indicates whether the cause is still valid and usable.
